About the course

Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced engineer, this three day course will provide you with the latest essential tools and knowledge to tackle any challenge, obtaining practical and efficient joint solutions no matter the size or complexity.

The course is a collaboration between Wood Norway and the University of Coimbra in Portugal. One of our main lecturers will be Luis Simões da Silva, Professor of Structual Mechanics and a key author for European Convention for Constructional Steelworks (ECCS) publications.

During the course, you will learn theory and work on practical exercises that can be solved by basic tools such as Excel spreadsheets and state-of-the-art software IDEA Statica.
