Following a major five-day quality and environmental systems audit, Wood Group company The Automated Technology Group is delighted to announce that it will be retaining its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for another three years.
The re-certification audit was carried out by SGS, one of the world’s leading UKAS-accredited certification providers, and took place at The Automated Technology Group’s Silsoe headquarters and Stafford premises, as well as PSJ Fabrications’ Bedford facilities between 9 – 13 November 2015.
As part of the audit, The Automated Technology Group’s and PSJ Fabrications’ quality and environmental management systems were assessed though a comprehensive document review and sampling of core business processes. The process also included a site visit and a review of the new service office in Stafford to ensure its compliance to the above standards.
Darryl Pearce, quality manager for The Automated Technology Group, commented: “Maintaining our ISO 9001 certification not only shows commitment to quality for clients and staff, but also drives continual improvement in order to enhance customer satisfaction. The ISO 14001 certification, validates our green credentials, demonstrating our policy to reduce waste, minimise energy costs and provide a framework to allow the group to meet increasingly high expectations of corporate responsibility, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements."
The Automated Technology Group is delighted to have completed the audit without incurring any non-conformities, showing full compliance to both standards. Retaining the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications will not only benefit The Automated Technology Group’s existing clients but also assist in the pre-qualification process for prospective customers.
