Wood grows U.S. power operations with new contract in Kentucky

Wood, the global consulting and engineering company, will expand its operations and grow its presence in the U.S. power market with a new contract in Kentucky.

The five-year agreement, which will employ approximately 120 people, includes mechanical maintenance and operations for two power plants and a third location in Louisville, KY.

“Following the successful delivery of a number of previous projects, Wood was ideally positioned to build on our established partnership and this new operations contract,” said Paul Leonard, President of Wood’s operations business in the Americas.
