Wood teams up with Rosetti Marino to deliver FEED for North Sea platform
To accommodate expanding project demand and business growth, and to improve the in-office experience for our 1,200+ regional UK-based people, we recently relocated our Reading and Staines operations to new offices in Green Park in Reading and on London Road in Staines.
Engineering complex global projects in energy and materials
These two offices are known centres of excellence for engineering design, consulting and project delivery. Since 1974, we have been delivering complex global projects in the energy and materials markets in sectors from hydrogen and carbon capture to petrochemicals, upstream oil and gas and refining, including biofuels.
Our teams in these offices work on some of the largest and most complex energy transition projects, engineering world-first facilities that will be instrumental in achieving global climate goals. Teams here work across a truly international base, supporting projects across Europe, the North Sea and the Middle East, and our remarkable people in Reading and Staines are responsible for the design and delivery of some of the world’s largest engineering projects.

Delivering our renowned early careers programmes
As part of our Early Careers initiative that launched in March 2023, our Global Graduate Programme aims to help graduates transition from campus to corporate life. We create the opportunity for recent graduates to connect, develop and progress within their field of study. Hands-on experience on complex, challenging projects and learning from experts help them build their core skills and capabilities and secure their future in industry.
Across our business, almost 1,000 graduates are joining us for this programme. In Reading and Staines, we have over 60 graduates going through this enabling scheme.
Young professionals who graduated from a university or college within the past 12 months are welcome to apply for a position in our global programme, and students who are looking for a summer placement while still attending university or college can find out what to expect from our internship scheme and upload resumes on our website.
