7600km of pipeline upgrade as part of National Gas transformation delivery
We are digitally upgrading 7,600km of pipelines for National Gas as part of their commitment to energy transition. Along with modernising the assets, we are also advising National Gas on its National Transmission System (NTS) on the level of investment required to repurpose the infrastructure to transport hydrogen on 25% of its pipelines.
Supporting the largest automation project in the world
Situated in Kazakhstan, TengizChevroil Future Growth Project (FGP) is one of the largest automation projects ever executed and it includes over 87,000 hardwired I/O and 65 remote instrument enclosures (RIEs). The project was delivered by Wood experts from across UK, Houston, Korea, Italy and Kazakhstan. The sheer size of this project required unique execution methodologies to advance configuration and testing with partial and incomplete data. Wood’s proprietary tools and systems coupled with our relentless commitment to operational assurance allowed this project to achieve a flawless automation system startup.
Fuelling a carbon-neutral transport future through digital innovation
Wood partnered with one of US’s largest refineries to tackle asset, infrastructure and connected-equipment challenges and strengthen their data analytics. We enabled flexible data modelling and delivered rapid validation of everchanging data to facilitate automated remote testing of a highly complex control system.
Driving Digital transformation for a Middle East client
For a Middle East energy client, we identified 100+ digital initiatives that when implemented would significantly reduce carbon emissions and costs for the client. As part of our solution ,we did a thorough evaluation of the system to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary protections. Additionally, we implemented Smart Site Safety Solutions (4S), a comprehensive suite of tools designed to enhance site safety and efficiency.
