A tailored service

Our specialist tank services, combined with our wider capabilities, offer full turnkey solutions for both new-build fuel storage sites and refurbishment of existing facilities.

We design and build fixed and floating roof tanks, from small single tanks to large multi-tank projects. Having in-house design and repair capability reduces your interfaces, making service easier for you. For a rapid return on investment, our back office approach minimises your onsite costs and allows you easy access to experienced professionals how and when you need it.

In-house fabrication facility

We have specialist facilities, strategically located to provide offsite fabrication and repair work. The fabrication facility collaborates with repair order and engineering teams, making a complete one-team approach to delivery that also drives continuous improvement and improves integration.

Fully equipped facility comprising 10,000 square feet of fully equipped workshops within 100,000 square feet (2.3 acres) of industrial space.

We can seamlessly cover the entire EPC life cycle

Wood provides flexible fabrication solutions, from small-scale replacements and repairs to modular elements for medium- to large-scale structures, and fabrication management for mega projects.

We can deliver fabrication as a stand-alone service or as part of an integrated project. Our local fabrication shops can execute repair items, small- to medium-scale elements and modular constructions. Through our engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and project management capabilities we are used to handling projects using multiple fabrication yards for large-scale builds.

Integrated with our fabrication workshops are survey and rapid turnaround scanning capability; multi-discipline engineering, construction and installation; and commissioning engineers so we can seamlessly cover the entire EPC life cycle.

Our service across the spectrum of EPC delivery is fully scalable, led by the relative needs of our customers and the complexities of their projects. Our tradesmen are qualified and certified, and we have in-house assessors for the pressure equipment directive (PED) so you can be assured our designs and subsequent fabrications will meet regulations.

Our experience covers all energy, utilities, marine and power sectors, helping you repair and upgrade on small to medium projects. We are working with project teams to develop fixed-price elements for rapid budgeting and even faster turnaround. Typical items we fabricate are:
